Meet The Team
Taneal Behm
Taneal is our fantastic leader. She started NoCo Pediatric OT LLC in 2013 as a partner with Sheryl Daneman and she has continued to grow it ever since. She is experienced in the school setting, skilled nursing facilities, pediatric home health, clinic settings, and therapeutic horseback riding. She developed a passion for kids with sensory needs and thus came the dream of IPTA.
Taneal has continued to lead her growing team and see a caseload of patients both in the home and in hippotherapy. Her compassion and leadership have been the driving force of a growing practice.
Stephanie Voorhes
Steph graduated from Northland Community College in Minnesota in 2005. She started her career in early intervention in Minnesota before moving to Wyoming, There, Steph began working in hippotherapy and farm-based therapy, before moving to Montana and working in skilled nursing and rehabilitation. When she moved to Colorado, she began in home health care before joining Integrated Pediatric Therapy Associates in 2017. From there, she has grown in her role to become the Clinical Director of the farm! In her freetime, she enjoys being with her husband Mark, cat Odie & her chickens. She is always looking for an adventure, going camping, traveling to fun places or enjoying her local book club.
Kendra Hull
Kendra’s background is in financial accounting and small business operations. She’s excited to bring that experience to support Iron Horse’s team and mission. The mother of two toddler boys, she loves learning about nuerodivergence, childhood development and the ways in which equine therapy can foster social emotional development.
Stan Jurgens
As an investment entrepreneur native to Colorado, I’m grateful to have the freedom to spend time with what matters most, people! In addition to serving my wife and children, I am passionate about being a part-time caregiver for my sister, advocating for foster children, and meeting with my church regularly for study, prayer and occasional overseas trips. After earning a psychology degree from Colorado State University, my employment has been in drug and alcohol case management, high risk youth case management, developmental disability assistance, sales account management, and real estate investment.
Lindsey Messenger
Lindsey has lived in Fort Collins for five years, and now lives in Old Town with her boyfriend and two cats, Florence & Walter. Together, they spend their weekends with their horse at the farm, Ilias. In her free time, Lindsey enjoys painting and calligraphy, and spending time with friends. She joined the Board of Directors to help the farm progress as it grows and ensure the mission remains client-centered to create a community in NoCo.
Heather Hiltz
Heather has spent the last decade teaching developmental gymnastics classes to children both on the West and East coast. After falling in love with the magic that is Occupational Therapy, Heather switched career paths and graduated as an OTA from Pima Medical Institute in 2021. Heather is passionate about helping children learn, grow, and celebrate all of their incredible victories. Heather has pursued continuing education in sensory processing and is constantly in pursuit of learning and developing in all areas of pediatric OT. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, board games, exploring the outdoors with her son, dancing, and anything involving crafts and baking!
