Enjoy All The Farm Has to Offer
Partnered with our sister company, IPTA, Iron Horse serves as the host site for 2 accessible seasonal events - an all abilities egg hunt in the spring & a fall fest. It also provides support for the Sensory Day at the Larimer County Fair alongside IPTA.
Iron Horse holds one annual fundraiser in June, the Buckaroo Rodeo. It is our major fundraiser to increase funds for scholarships, animal care and property improvements. The Buckaroo Rodeo showcases up to 30 current clients who show off their learned therapy skills in the arena and are celebrated by family, friends and the community.

The Buckaroo Rodeo
Started in 2025, The Buckaroo Rodeo is an annual day in June that highlights our client's hard work in weekly therapy sessions. Iron Horse is proud to showcase up to 30 clients at the rodeo, allowing them a sensory friendly day at the farm for their family, friends and our community at large to cheer them. Participants are given shirts, trophies and accessible farm-based activities at the Rodeo. The community is welcome to come out and see what we do - as long as they promise to cheer on the Buckaroo's!

All Abilities Egg Hunt
Iron Horse serves as the host site to welcome over 500 guests to enjoy a stress-free, sensory friendly egg hunt in the spring! No run times, no rushing to get eggs - our families get to enjoy a peaceful morning at the farm while their kiddos collect eggs across our arena & sensory pasture at whatever pace works for them. Stop by and enjoy our other activities, like outdoor games and a bounce house!

Fall Fest
Iron Horse serves as the host site for our accessible fall fest in the fall. Our friends at Anderson Farms generously donate pumpkins for our accessible pumpkin patch, as well as other fall-based activities! Enjoy our bounce house and pumpkin painting stations as well!

Sensory Day at Larimer County Fair
Integrated Pediatric Therapy Associates & Iron Horse Therapeutic Farm co-host the Sensory Day at Larimer County Fair. Our fair friends close the fairgrounds for a half day in August to allow only the special needs community of NoCo come out to the fair. Enjoy a day with no lights or sounds on the rides, with minimal lines, to help kiddos of all abilities enjoy the fair. IPTA allows their therapy team to join at the farm to ride rides with patients and assist families with transfers on rides, self-regulation and sensory processing in the community.
Ticketed event, families must arrive with a ticket provided to them by either IPTA, IHTF or another sponsoring company to enter.
